Coal Powered on Trial and Algae To Fuel

Posted at 7 June 2008 1:53

Let us consider the issue of algae to fuel. I am not just talking here about whether you have the stamina to put in long hours. The issue if whether you have the willingness to put everything and everyone else on hold.

The classic situation is how we percept those things we are looking for. I like simple knowledgeable short articles. They are really satisfied my curiosity.

At the 108th General Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology in Boston, several researchers presented new ways to use microbes for bioenergy production. Concepts range from capturing and converting the CO2 from ethanol production into biodiesel fuel and fertilizer, to biohydrogen production with bacteria trapped in 'artificial kidneys'. Others looked at producing hydrogen from water and sunlight only, with a bacterium doing the conversion. Craig Venter, not present at the meeting but ..>>.

Image via WikipediaCan you feel the tides turning? Is America and the world finally starting to look further into the future than the next four years? Can we clean up the mess we've made of the planet and leave the place livable for our great grandchildren? From ABC News… In federal and state courtrooms across the country, environmental groups are putting coal-fueled power plants on trial in a bid to slow the industry's biggest construction boom in decades. Southern Company's Plant .. Keep Reading.

Origo Develops Recycling System that Turns Car Emissions Into Fuel The concept has been around for a while, but Origo Industries is expecting being the first company to release a CO2 recycling system that turns your car emissions into fuel. The unit captures CO2 from your car exhaust and stores it until it can be recycled in a home unit that uses algae to produce bio-oil. According to the company, the system could produce as much as 660 gallons of free fuel per year—which sounds too good to .. read the rest.

Modern society put so much pressure on all of us, but we won't miss out the joys of reading good posts.

Yes, ULSD fuels have a lower BTU value and thus when burned in a diesel engine will result in less power. Cetane enhanced products can offset this power loss. Cetane is a high energy compound that makes the fuel burn more completely in the combustion chamber, resulting in more power, reduced emissions, and improved fuel economy. Power Service diesel additives contain "+ Cetane Boost" to offset this power loss while also improving fuel economy and reducing emissions.
