Algal Fuel One Step Closer To Conventional Oil Alternative

Posted at 2 August 2008 15:6

A few years ago I quit the world of office politics, deadlines, sales graphs, weekly meetings and executive stress for the world of algae in fuel. The notions of working like this sound like some utopian dream to the average nine to five freeway rat-racer, but believes me folks, it is.

I love the posting, I made a copy and share:

A liquid fuel made from plants that is chemically identical to crude oil but which does not contribute to climate change when it is burned or, unlike other biofuels, need agricultural land to produce sounds too good to be true. Nevertheless a company in San Diego claims to have developed exactly that – a sustainable version of oil it calls "green crude". Read more | digg .. click here.

While have powerful value proposition is still essential part of building algae in fuel, it certainly is not the only part. But because it is indispensable, the value proposition has better be clear, concise, and compelling. This article applies all these points:

Photo: Sapphire Energy 'Green Crude' Milestone In what it calls its most significant milestone yet, Sapphire Energy , claims it has refined a high-octane gasoline from algae that is chemically identical to crude oil. According to Sapphire Energy, "The resulting gasoline is completely compatible with current infrastructure, meaning absolutely no change to consumer's cars." This is of course besides the benefit that their Green Crude is a carbon neutral fuel. .. Read the rest of this entry.

You would be amazed at this. Moreover, you should be surprised to learn.

A new milestone was reached recently in the race to make algae a conventional oil alternative: high-octane gasoline that is compatible with any gas-guzzling vehicle. Sapphire Energy performed the feat, a company that manufactures green crude?. I think algae is probably the most feasible source for biofuel that I have come across. It certainly beats corn and sugar in not competing with food production. Hopefully it will also be a more ecologically sound crop as well, without taxing ..Read the rest of this post.

It is very active. Anyway, the pursuit of the almighty and all goes with.
