Not all diesel performance products are the same. Diesel performance "chips" over fuel your engine to produce more power. This produces more fuel than your engine is designed to burn, thus the surplus fuel burns in your exhaust manifold and turbo. Undesirable heat is generated that increases friction, wears on the cylinder walls and rings and could lead to total meltdown.

Green Fuel Algae Curcuma longa Linn.(Zingiberaceae) is a medicinal plant widely used and cultivated in tropical regions. The hydro-distillation of fresh rhizomes yielded 1.88 % (v/w) of volatile oil while dried rhizomes gave 7.02% (v/w) of volatile oil and 6.95% (w/w) of crude curcuminoids. With 95% ethanol extraction of dried powder, 29.52% (w/w) crude ethanol was obtained. This extract composed of curcumin (11.6%), demethoxycurcumin (10.32%) and bisdemethoxycurcumin (10.77%). All extracts were tested for antifungal activity against 29 clinical strains of dermatophytes. By agar disc diffusion method, there was no inhibition activity of crude curcuminoids while curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin gave different inhibition zone diameters between 6.1-16.0 mm. as well as those from the activity of crude ethanol extract. The undiluted freshly distilled and 18-month-old oils gave the similar inhibition zone diameters to those obtained from the activity of ketoconazole at 200 mcg/ml. However, the inhibition zone diameters from the activities of freshly distilled oil, 18-month-old oil and ketoconazole were significantly different from curcuminoid compounds and crude ethanol extract (p<0.01). By broth dilution method, the average of minimum inhibitory concentrations of activities of freshly distilled and 18-month-old oil were 7.8 and 7.2 mcg/ml respectively.
